Our Frameworks

The Gen5 Framework has 16 different contractors across four different lots who are able to deliver civil engineering, highways and transport infrastructure including build roads, bridges, retaining walls, sea defences, cycle ways etc. for local authorities and public bodies.

Approximately £25-35 million of construction works are awarded annually through the Framework, and it generates income for Hampshire County Council (HCC) of approximately £150k per year.

​

The Gen5 Framework is made up of four areas:

Engineers and Businesspeople

The 5th generation of the Technical Resources Framework (TRF 5) offers local authorities and public bodies access to specialist recruitment agency and secondment providers. They cover a number of different areas including:

​

  • Civil engineering (including Highways, Structures and Geotechnical Engineering)

  • Engineering (including Traffic, Lighting, Safety and Electrical)

  • Contract, commercial and construction services

  • Surveying (including Quantity and Land Surveying)

  • Project management

  • Asset management (including highways maintenance)

  • Highways laboratory and construction materials testing services

  • Planning (including transport, land, travel and development planning)

  • Environmental, ecological and landscape services

Using the Place Connectivity and Infrastructure (PCI) framework offers local authorities and public bodies access to consultants who can support with multi-disciplinary and specialist professional services in the fields of transportation, civil engineering, infrastructure and economic growth.

 

The Framework offers a wide range of consultants who can be procured using mini-competitions and direct awards.

 

The lotting structure on this Framework is split into two main areas:

Lot A: Multi-Disciplinary Services 

This lot consists of three consultancy firms (Jacobs, WSP and Stantec) delivering large-scale multi-disciplinary services.

Lot B1-B10: Specialist Services 

These 10 specialist lots consist of a selection of consultants, covering the following discipline areas:
