Gen5-2 (Medium Works)
Gen5-2 is a lot split into East and West, with 6 contractor places in each area, with an overlap in the contractors. It is available to local authorities and public bodies in the south east and south west of England
Core scope includes:

Civils works associated with the construction of complex highway safety and improvement works (including carriageway, footway and cycle facilities construction, junction improvements including at-grade priority junctions and roundabouts, civils works associated with Intelligent Transport Systems etc.)

Construction of highway drainage

Construction of public realm works (including high spec. paving and street furniture etc.)

Construction and repair of highways structures (including culverts, bridges, retaining walls etc.)

Flood alleviation works

Provision and design of traffic management
Other works may also be possible through this lot.
Works with a maximum value of £5,000,000 can be delivered through this lot. Either mini competition or direct award can be used to engage the contractors, subject to framework terms.
